As a Game Day Producer for the XFL DC Defenders, my role focused around creating an electrifying and immersive fan experience that goes beyond the traditional boundaries of sports entertainment. With a passion for innovation, creativity and my hometown in Washington, DC, I supported team members in orchestrating all aspects of the game day experience, from captivating pre-game festivities to DC culture focused halftime shows. Collaborated closely with various departments and the venue to ensure seamless coordination and execution of in-game elements, including player introductions, on-field performances, and fan engagement activities.

The 2nd Annual Four Seasons Hotel Washington, DC Holiday Market hosts market stalls featuring unique gifts such as handmade clay jewelry and contemporary art, as well as culinary offerings from local makers and artisans. Four Seasons becomes an outdoor holiday shopping destination with musical entertainment, light and snow displays. A percentage of each purchase is donated directly to Children’s National.

Since 1980, Four Seasons has organized and participated in annual charity runs and other initiatives all over the world to raise funds toward advancing cancer research, a cause that has been supported by Four Seasons employees since Terry Fox’s historic Marathon of Hope across Canada 39 years ago.The Race to Beat Cancer 5K in Washington, DC raises much-needed funds and awareness for cancer research and clinical trials. On this day, we celebrate survivors and honor those who have lost their battles with cancer. Join the Washington, DC community as we promote healthy lifestyles and give hope to thousands who continue the fight this deadly disease.

Successfully led and developed strategic fundraising and stewardship campaigns for 6 separate programs under the NCL umbrella, resulting in a total of $2.3 million raised. Led creation of a new sponsorship deck for a national championship program that spans across 50 states and DC, contributing significantly to our fundraising success.Exceeded the Annual Dinner fundraising goal by over $80,000 by securing the support of 18 new funders and re-engaging 11 lapsed donors. Converted 42 funders from various industries, transforming them from partners on one-off projects into long-term relationships, thereby enhancing financial support and ensuring long-term sustainability.Collaborated closely with individual board members, dinner committee members, and advisory board members across the nation, tapping into their diverse networks, which ultimately increased funder prospects by 10%. Represented NCL at conferences and engaged with Senate and congressional staff to advocate for consumer education and policy issues.Maintained regular communication by sending bi-weekly updates to board and dinner committee members, empowering them to utilize their roles effectively in meeting fundraising goals, stewarding current funders, and establishing 18 new fruitful relationships.Led streamlining the finance reconciliation process across multiple funding streams and departments, effectively reducing costs and optimizing financial outcomes.

Exceeded FY15 fundraising goal by $140,000 two months prior to end of fiscal calendar year. Expanded the Development Department by hiring and leading Assistant Director of Development and Development Operations Manager positions to focus on donor segmentation and grants/proposals, respectively. Increased donor and foundation funding in excess of $90,000+ through strategic alignment of foundations and corporate sponsorships via specific case for supports that focused on company vision. Created and executed strategic development plan for FY16 by expanding funding streams beyond traditional methods. Increased funding amongst current donors and foundations through strategic donor upgrade plan with development team. Reduced overall costs to organization via strategic partnerships with other non-profits and partnerships.

Successfully migrated donor database from Sage to Raiser’s Edge platform and reconciled data. Elevated social media exposure by more than 400% over 5 month period via strategically linking to website and media articles pertinent to organizational work. Management and oversight of grants, first ever Annual Report and fundraising calendar. Drafting of development plan for FY16 inclusive of segmentation of demographics to target specific donors and increase engagement along with a variety of new concepts and ideas to vary fundraising efforts and engagement with the organization. Management of Annual Appeal Letters to current and lapsed donors which doubled revenue from previous year.

Assisted with city permitting, attended Advisory Neighborhood Commissioners meetings for race layouts, road closures, impact on communities and other concerns, etc.. Cultivated and organized 1200+ volunteers for Inaugural Nike Women’s Half Marathon (2013) and 1500+ for 2014 event to manage Expotique and half marathon over a four day period. Initiated program development partnerships with non-profit and for profit organizations for Pacers Events to promote visibility of non-profit and increase revenue for Pacers through MOU’s.

Specializing in Literacy and Dual Language Instruction. Two-Way SIOP Consultant and trainer for the Center for Applied Linguistics. Under this role I worked nationally with teachers, school districts and universities to understand how to evaluate and train teachers more effectively in order to maintain the integrity of bilingual programs. I also worked with two researchers at CAL on developing curriculum for the country of Ghana in integration of native language and instruction on the English language.

Managed 15+ committee chairs and their teams to execute more than 65 events over a 3 week period. Assisted in the production of a fundraising database to identify and target potential individual and organizational donors and partners. Utilized expertise in the community to create additional value for Capital Pride in an effort to improve current programs and create more revenue, involvement, excitement and strengthening of relationships through strategic planning and long term vision.

The Center for Applied Linguistics is dedicated to providing a comprehensive range of research-based information, tools, and resources related to language and culture. CAL is a private, nonprofit organization working to improve communication through better understanding of language and culture. Established in 1959, CAL is headquartered in Washington, DC. After being one of the project participants, I became the first Two-Way SIOP Training and Coach to Two-Way programs throughout the US.

First, Second, & Third Grade Dual Language Teacher- Worked collaboratively with language partner to ensure students were progressing their language skills in both English and Spanish- Worked collaboratively with grade-level team to ensure students’ needs were being met and we were working on common studies- Differentiated instruction to ensure progress among students learning English and Spanish simultaneously - Incorporated technology and used a SMARTBOARD to enhance student learning and engagement- Worked with the Center for Applied Linguistics on developing the SIOP model in Two-Way Immersion programs
