As the Corporate Applications Manager my role is to ensure the corporate application needs of the organisation are met, providing a single point of focus and direction for applications. The role includes:Producing strategies that ensure critical applications, interfaces and databases enabling important business processes are secure, resilient, highly available cost-efficient and able to scale to support planned growth and change.Providing clear leadership to managers responsible for application assurance and solution delivery, deliver capital investment, routine platform upgrades and business as usual change requests.Define, perform and mature the role of change manager, establishing appropriate policies, procedures and mechanisms in-line with industry standards and best practice.Facilitating a group-wide CAB and coordinate change management reviews.Protecting the security and integrity of corporate applications and their data with appropriate continuity, applying robust IT governance to marshal all change throughout the application estate.I design application services to meet business needs, preparing justified business cases for investment to meet emerging requirements, maintain the asset base and maximise return on investment in applications across Pennon Group.Ensuring best practice standards such as ISO, PRINCE and ITIL are followed to deliver consistent and effective governance and procedures.

Led a customer-focused team of more than 20 staff responsible for providing IT service delivery to end users.Delivered first-rate customer service utilising service operation to define, implement and manage efficient Change, Request, Incident and Problem processes.Accountable for service transition, defining and managing change and release processes.
