During my internship at Arqiva, which was extended for a further 5 weeks on freelance basis, I was involved in some key projects.The main project I was posted to was IP Delivered radio system known as 'SUREnet'. Within this project, between Arqiva and Bauer, I performed audio tests for Bauer in their central London studios. I drove to various transmitter sites in the east and south of England to assist with the install of SUREnet broadcasting equipment. I also took individual responsibility for firmware testing on Sonifex hardware equipment that involved direct correspondence and collaboration with the manufacturer.Secondly I was assisted with transmitter electrical efficiency projects for a various multiplexes that Arqiva provide using adaptive correction techniques to improve output efficiency. Travelling to various sites to learn about transmitters and help perform a week long pilot rollout of the program.

In this position I headed a team to achieve the first broadcast of 5.1 surround sound over DVB-T2 transmission in Ravensbourne. Dolby AC-3 emission codec was used via Axon processing equipment for a successful outcome.
