Today, as Head of Innovation and Change at Waitrose, I lead initiatives that bridge vision and action, ensuring the business stays ahead in an ever-changing retail landscape. My work is focused on delivering innovations that matter: enhancing customer experiences, empowering teams, and driving operational excellence.My career began on the front lines of retail, managing stores and understanding firsthand the power of people, processes, and purpose in driving change. That foundation shaped my journey as I moved into senior roles, including Head of Innovation at Walmart Canada, where I launched Blue Labs, the company’s first innovation incubator. Through this work, I had the opportunity to develop and scale bold ideas, delivering over $500 million in business value and reshaping how retail connects with customers.I believe innovation is about more than technology; it’s about solving problems that matter. It’s about aligning people, ideas, and systems to create something greater than the sum of its parts. At Waitrose, this means not only introducing new concepts but ensuring they drive lasting impact—whether by improving customer satisfaction, increasing efficiency, or enabling teams to thrive in a fast-paced world.Along the way, I’ve shared these insights as a keynote speaker, helping leaders and teams navigate the complexity of change.
