As a Senior Mechanical Engineer at EBMUD, I have over 12 years of experience in designing and engineering mechanical and process systems for water treatment and distribution infrastructure. I lead the Mechanical Engineering Design group at EBMUD. Our group works on mechanical systems for the Water System. Anything that helps make clean water, stores water, conveys water to your house, we do that. If you drink water in the SF East Bay Area, EBMUD makes it.Prior to EBMUD, I was at Bechtel designing a nuclear waste cleanup facility. And prior to that I was in manufacturing.My mission is to think about the team and make good decisions that ensure safe, reliable, and sustainable water supply and service for the customers and communities we serve. We're looking for people who want to be part of an enriching work experience so our people develop, have fun, and grow with us.I have developed P&IDs, detail design drawings, specifications, calculations, and provided operations and maintenance support for various projects, such as raw water pumps, pump stations, reservoirs, pressure regulators, flow control stations, building plumbing and HVAC, pipelines, and hydropower plants. I have also introduced and utilized 3D and 2D CAD software to enhance the quality and efficiency of the design process, and performed hydraulic modeling using various software tools. I have collaborated with electrical, civil/structural, control systems, and construction engineers, as well as contractors, maintenance, and operation staff, to design and build EBMUD infrastructure.Let's build clean water together.
