Hello my name is Jooho Lee, but I go by John. I’ve had a relationship with coding since highschool and since then I took classes and coded in my spare time. I pursued a major in Bioengineering, where I have familiarized myself with optimization and efficiency but coding was not foreign to me the entire time. Any chance I had, I would take up the task of coding in projects such as the San Joaquin River project, in which I worked to produce an informative kiosk using html and Javascript. Although I have graduated with Bioengineering, I noticed that I have always been drawn to coding because I would always end up working with the software team to help them report, debug, and propose ideas with their software. I have learned the essential skills for me to be a software engineer ranging from foundations with data structures to frameworks with React, Backbone, and AngularJS to back end tools such as nodeJS/express, Mongodb, Mysql, Sockets IO, and other tools that give me the skills to translate imaginations to reality. I hope to continue my journey as a software engineer and learn more cutting edge tools while checking and redefining my foundational skills.
