Lee holds a BFA in Painting/Printmaking and a Minor in Art History from Kansas City Art Institute. She started in the industry in 1975 “to frame my own artwork for galleries”. Before purchasing the company she “did a decade” at Williams Sonoma/Pottery Barn/Hold Everything corporation. “I retired in 1997 with an intention to build a company, where we had a relationship with each client and we crafted each and every piece with quality and style in mind. I took what I learned at William-Sonoma about educating your customer to what’s happening in the rest of the world, and translated it to fine art custom framing. She has an admitted addiction for framing materials, hand picking each sample herself for quality and style.
