Masterfully balanced a successful Army career over 36 years (Retired Colonel) and continues to serve as an adviser to many veteran support organizations. What began with four years active duty followed by active reserve, resulted in another six and half years of active duty from being recalled repeatedly for service included tours in Iraq, Afghanistan and Haiti. Successfully planned and executed a variety of missions including counter-insurgency, civil capacity building, drug interdiction, intelligence gathering, and psychological operations. Served with distinction from platoon leader to brigade commander with ever increasing responsibility ultimately serving as the Deputy Chief of Staff for Civil Capacity (C-9), Multi-National Corps Iraq.

Responsible for the MNC-I Civil Capacity Line of Operation (LOO) with priority of effort towards Governance, Economic Development and Rule of Law. Additionally, serves as Deputy for MNC-I CoS to ensure continuity as change will be constant. I must develop and maintain effective working relationships with MNF-I, Department of State (OPA), Iraqi Army, Iraqi ministers, Provincial Governments, Tribal Leaders and Non-Government Organizations.

Planned and directed operations for the command that spans the three state area and consists of 54 untis and over 8,000 Soldiers. Was responsible for the development and implementation of plans and orders to support mobilization, training operations and exercises. Oversees operation of the command’s Emergency Operations Center, message center and all readiness reporting applications. Supervised activities of the current operations, plans, homeland defense and readiness branches, as well as the command’s Provost Marshall’s office. Conducted direct coordination with Power Projection Platforms, the United States Army Reserve Command and other external agencies.

Provided leadership at the chief executive level for multiple companies at various points of the business cycle. Demonstrated successful track-record with start-ups, corporate renewals and turn-arounds. Major Achievements: • Merged four failing companies and brought them to profitability in nine months despite 9/11 attacks occurring 10 days after taking over the company.• Produced triple digit growth each year with 507% net profit gain from 2002 to 2003. Generated in excess of $360 million in gross revenue with average margins of 48% by introducing new solutions to the market for managed services offerings from 1999 to 2000. • Effectively brought solutions to market in rapid succession without compromising quality of service. • Established the professional services organization and grew it into a multi-million dollar national business within six months, services monthly revenue exceeded $1,000,000.

• Responsible for computing in the Northwest Region (Washington, Oregon, Idaho and Alaska) a multi-tiered production environment serving over 10,000 users. Led strategic business initiatives to dramatically reduce the cost of systems support and standardize on key platforms.• Led initiative to consolidate Seafirst and Security Pacific Asset systems; Implementation of Shaw Loans System (IL2000); Implementation of Consumer Originations (ACAPS); and Consolidation of Collections Systems (CAS and CACSPlus).• Established Corporate Data Warehouse, Finance Environment Reengineering, MIR Database Reengineering, Automated Time Card Collection Installation and Human Resource Management System Replacement.
