I love using my background in sales and my psychotherapy training to connect with people of diverse backgrounds, build business relationships, and nurture rapport so companies can have a positive impact on their clients and customers. Having worked in pharmaceutical sales for more than 15 years, I learned the importance of not only understanding a product inside and out but also developing strong personal relationships and building business connections and rapport. That sort of comes naturally to me, though, because I've always had an innate ability to talk to and relate to almost anyone, put people at ease, get them to open up, and even make them laugh. These skills are invaluable for business success, especially in today's fast-paced and noisy world. Nurturing connections and building relationships can make business more human and personal.Part of my ability to build and nurture relationships with people from varying backgrounds probably comes from the fact that I'm also educated and experienced as a psychotherapist. It was my love of building relationships in pharmaceutical sales that led me to go back to school to study psychotherapy. Throughout my time in that field, I had the distinct honor of changing many people's lives for the better through my counseling work. Because sales and psychotherapy are both based on studying people's behaviors and motivations on a deeper level, these two areas of my background pair perfectly to give me an advantage in understanding what motivates consumers to help companies better connect with them.
