Design and development of control plane software for knowledge based processor (KBP). Developed algorithm to handle ACL databases for the control plane software. Enhancement of ACL algorithm to handle wider length ACLs. Algorithm improvement to achieve higher update rates and capacities. Optimization to attain low power requirement. Developed hardware modeling software used for hardware abstraction tool for the functionality verification.

Development of Policy Based Routing (PBR), Unicast Reverse Path Forwarding (URPF), Web Cache Communication Protocol (WCCP to communicate with Cache Engine for web caching) features for Cisco's cat3k family 3850 campus access switch (NG3K forwarding manager). Debugging on customer deployment production. Development of SNMP traps for L3 features.

Development of OSPF features as per RFC 2328 and APBF (Advanced Policy Based Forwarding) which is similar to policy based routing for L3-switch for Ericsson Routing Suite (ERS). Development of customer requirements in L2 and L3 protocol features. Worked on performance optimization, system design and functional requirements.
