Without her documentation, many follow on efforts that were engaged by IT would have been exceptionally difficult. One prime example, was the PCI Compliance effort. Her materials were critical in helping the IT Security Team to clearly map out the Point of Sale System and the relationship of the Card Environment to the rest of the company network. Because of her skill as a manager and a developer, she was pulled into a Co-Development project with a global ERP vendor seeking to create a new product line for Retail Store Chains. Lee's in-house development team quickly developed and delivered their portions of the project on schedule and under budget, well in advance of their counter parts with the ERP vendor. Lee then turned her attention to assisting efforts with the Human Capital Management (HCM) part of the project, where through the use of remarkable interpersonal skill, she helped the ERP Vendor IT Personnel devise an effective change management process that effectively compensated for the gaps in the systems’ technology. Note that before Lee, our HCM had spent months trying to explain the problems with the processes proposed by the ERP Vendors’ team without success.
