I had the honor of managing the communications for Trinity Basin Preparatory from November 2022 to May 19, 2023, until the elimination of the role. I profoundly impacted and elevated their communication efforts in my short time in the position. My most immediate effect was adjusting the delivery and cadence of their parent newsletter and pairing it with smart design choices increased readership by nearly 8%. In Early 2023, I worked on adding value to a 30k investment in an internal web resource that needed to be more active and noticed. A summer at TBP would have been when training and learning would have kicked off on their Oak/Atlas tool. Starting in March of this year and within two months, I created a robust crisis communications program that utilized Blackboard parentLink and did not exist to the extent it does now. Now any staff member can be successful at emergency communication when seconds and minutes count. I am proud to have volunteered to help build an outdoor learning lab with OutTeach, help serve breakfast during teacher appreciation week, and helped volunteers at a recruitment event at the Henry B Tippie National Aviation Education Center. I was active, made significant progress in several ways, and was on track to make a big difference for this outstanding institution.

I'm charged with designing and creating promotional pieces for Ophthalmologist and Dentists around the country to quickly and intensely improve the impact of our clients current marketing strategies. Design work is shaped and created to be highly successful in the marketplace and has proven results that clients appreciate.This job includes having to direct photo shoots, video shoots, write creative effective scripts for tv and radio. I work quickly to line up creative solutions for multiple clients and design professional pieces for leading doctors and dentists from coast to coast.

MARKETING DESIGN: Successfully implemented a branding campaign and secured branding standards with the creation of publication guidelines, while giving unique appeal to each division though the use of brochures, letterhead, billboards, direct mailers, signs, apparel, division branding, copy-writing, and more. Eliminated dependency on stock photography by directing frequent in-studio photo shoots and commanding on-site event photography. Work closely with the marketing team, department committees, and outside clients to improve workflow procedures and prioritize heavy project lists that also include The World Famous Rangerettes, the Texas Shakespeare Festival, and the East Texas Oil Museum. Overhauled the branding and marketing of the Texas Shakespeare Festival by establishing an official logo, branding their celebratory 25th season, and annually creating original art and printed pieces for each play.WEB: Revitalized the college's web presence by extending my new branding concepts to the website through designing the overall concept, creating vital graphics, and assisting with basic HTML and Flash production.SPECIAL PROJECTS: As a faculty-adjunct teacher, redeveloped the "Intro into Graphic Design" course, creating more challenging, hands- on assignments and skill assessments that would better introduce students to a career in graphic design. Supervised seasonal interns by directing projects, mentoring, and teaching concept-to-press procedures. Started an official "green" movement for Kilgore College, generating interest through branding, organizing meetings, and establishing the first ever paper recycling system which serves the entire campus.

I had the responsibility to take care of a cabin of 11 year olds. I also taught theater lessons and performed skit in the morning as a crazy character related to the theme of camp.

I was tasked for a season to help level the burgeoning workload for the senior graphic designer.

I took care of 10-12 5/6th graders during a summer. Keeping them safe, fed, rested, and entertained for nearly 9 weeks during the summer.

As an intern, I mainly took care of character building grunt work. I'm still very fond of my experience working there.
