Marianne Lee is a content professional with a career built around fan generation in multiple territories. Lee has held senior leadership positions in content acquisition, curation, production, marketing, social media and research. Her most recent role at WarnerMedia was leading Marketing & Brand Services with the primary focus of driving subscription for HBO GO, a streaming and direct-to-consumer service in Southeast Asia. Prior to this, she built a from-the-ground-up General Entertainment department at Turner. There she defined and executed content and channel strategy, set new industry standards, launched brands and identified key tentpole content to create fan loyalty and advocacy.Her major accomplishment at Turner, was the launch of Oh!K, a key Korean entertainment brand that continues to be one of the leading content product in Singapore & Malaysia. She spearheaded the breakthrough in delivery timeline for Korean content to Southeast Asia in 2014 resulting in a new industry standard that is still being adopted today.Lee had proven track record in securing key content for various brands over the years, resulting in substantial viewership and revenue growth, while managing bottom line to achieve profit maximization. From establishing a newly formed entertainment team, with only a few colleagues, to managing a 50-person department across Southeast Asia & Pacific, Lee established herself as a people-oriented organizational leader, with active involvement in change and crisis management.Before WarnerMedia/Turner, Lee was with Universal Networks International based in Singapore. There she was responsible for the overall programme strategy in Asia, including programme and format acquisitions, scheduling, and original productions.Prior to Universal, Lee was at Sony Pictures Television Networks, Asia, following more than 10 years at Television Broadcasts Ltd in Hong Kong.
