Spent a period living onboard and sailing own boat from the UK to the Canary Islands and then to and around the Caribbean. During this period studied and became a qualified and experienced Royal Yachting Association Yacht Master Ocean (with commercial endorsement), having the ability to skipper any sailing vessel up to 200gt worldwide. Have conducted multiple yacht deliveries including Atlantic Ocean crossings.

Led a team of 20 personnel and responsible for the operationally deployed equipment and continual sustainment across a variety of types and locations world wide for a UK Special Mission Unit. Often at short notice and with considerable constraints of time, finance and transport.

Latin America

Selected to lead and direct a 5 man team providing direct support to a Foreign Nation. Ensured all assistance was given in strict accordance with HMG direction, including operating within a myriad of legal and political guidelines and with utmost discretion. Was responsible for organising 2 large scale exercises for a UK Special Mission Unit, the first within the region. Requiring extensive liaison with the host nation in Spanish.

The main point of contact and liaison for the head of the organisation and responsible for the delivery of the conventional training, enabled by managing a team of 30 personnel from a diverse variety of backgrounds and skill sets. Responsible for the training of individuals (in a multitude of skills) and groups in training worldwide. This included a bi-annual foreign training exercise for up to 650 personnel requiring extensive liaison and diplomacy across national and cutlural boundaries.
