X-Factor TV heads appThis app had a short timescale and some interesting challenges. It features some complex video compositing via OpenGL ES 2.0. A tracking element, masking and a reflection pass. The hard bit was to keep the size down. It uses an mp4 video texture atlas to store the various composite passes, this reduces the app size (still a big one tho). The other great feature is the vast amounts of videos you can scroll through, super smooth scrolling is achieved using our simple multi-threaded Coredata framework and our simple asynchronous HTTP request framework. It was great to also help out with the server side component, a rare crossover.Objective-C
