Working with the Supply Planning team and Demand Planning/Commercial Sales teams to ensure industry leading service at the lowest possible cost.Accountability for all finished good inventory and stock availability across Western Europe in the primary network for all sales channels.Minimising and managing the finished goods write off exposure for the business.Managing, using and maintaining SAP APO & RP9 as a SME (Subject Matter Expert) to allow the business to function effectively and efficiently.

Responsible for reviewing the long term strategic intent around factored procurement solutions whilst continually reviewing best practice and the opportunity to review the supply chain set up, ensuring it is fit for the long term company goals. Acted as the operational lead and ‘go-to’ member of the Factored team, supporting both the operation and the Factored Planning Manager, as well as being the point of contact for queries from other business departments.Developed and utilized a working relationship with an established third party drinks logistics provider to identify inefficiencies in the secondary network and put plans in place to resolve. In addition to other stock related tasks including the production and analysis of month-end and year-end inventory value forecasts, submitted to the UK&IRE Distribution Controller.

Responsibility for Logistics vendor performance within assigned Factored brand categories, ensuring delivery against key KPIs.Sharing all Logistics Supplier performance KPIs with the Trading team on a monthly basis to align with total vendor management process.Ensuring Factored brands within assigned categories are procured in the most efficient way to deliver full availability in all stock locations.Effective management of all RTM for Factored Procurement.Accountability for Factored category inventory management, with maximum stock turns delivered for each Factored Category.Implement factored replenishment process through SAP, including plan generation on MRP and creation of manual purchase requisitions when required.Manage the reverse supply chain for Factored goods, including uplift notes for vendors.Build effective relationships with all internal & external stakeholders to deliver the above.Ensure data is maintained in a timely and accurate way to enable effective system generated order generation to deliver target stock holding.Review stock policy on key category SKU’s to maximize availability and minimize cash flow.

During my 14 month placement as a Business Planning Assistant I undertook the work for the SAP/AFS Material Master role, which included business-critical projects such as Season Start-Up article creation and I was also later given 2 additional roles to enhance my development. My professional writing and presenting skills have improved during this time and I was also able to further enhance my current skill set including communication and IT literacy through department wide presentations and daily use of SAP business software respectively. A successful placement culminated in being awarded Employee of the Quarter for Q2 2013, having received nominations during every Quarter.Key responsibilities and achievements:- To support the Business Planning Team in the provision of analysis/information to the Finance, Marketing, Sales and Logistics departments and in the maintenance of planning systems (SAP, AFS, etc).- Support the Team Leader Marketing Systems with specific article creation responsibilities.- Responsible to update key monthly orderbook reports for review by the Business Planning Managers and to be issued to the Senior Leadership Team on the Board.- Assist the Category Planners to ensure completeness and accuracy of all category info in the relevant planning systems (AFS & SAP). - Responsibility of the Forecasting and Buying cycle for a Category with over £1 Million orderbook per season - the Originals Accessories and Hardware Category- Assist the Sales Planning team with analytical reporting and communication on a weekly basis- Demand Planning Employee of the Quarter for Q2 2013
