• Manage initiation, planning, monitoring, and closure of NPI & CPE releases. Initiation and planning entail close collaboration with product, firmware and partner test teams to arrive at a suitable schedule & relevant scope • Ensure on time delivery with acceptable quality levels of all NPI and CPE releases and field escalations• Accountable for execution for every release. Work closely with all the development and QA project managers & their engineering teams to ensure adherence to program milestones & schedule.• Scope Management (Requirements/enhancements) for a release & during release execution. Also responsible for Conversion of marketing requirements to technical requirements• Manage stakeholders across the globe (US, China, Singapore, Korea, India) and their expectations in various aspects from requirements management to addressing field escalations• Responsible for conducting PMTs to keep stakeholders informed about weekly status & updates• Risk management of releases for adherence to planned schedule & scope. Mining of risks and identification of mitigation plans was crucial to the success of a release. Risks were communicated to engineering teams, partners and stakeholders on a regular basis• Contribute towards processes to improve overall quality of the program.Use Data and metrics definition to define quality of releases• Conduct structured release retrospective meetings to identify the learnings and act on the same• Mentor new members of the PMO team to get them on board quickly on program management responsibilities. • Build awareness in engineering teams on new HP products in a release• Definition of the client software strategy for Home printers and ensure its adoption• Contribute towards program budgeting aspects in terms of arriving at the x-charges required for CPE releases or big deal support.
