Worked at the library’s front desk and helped students with various administration and resource-related issues.Comforted many students who had trouble with services or were extremely stressed during exam season.Promoted the library services through social events with other Student Partners, taking on an outreach role and engaging with the community.Collected feedback and discussed ways to improve our services with library executives, providing a fresh perspective as both a staff member and a university student.

Aided in categorizing and photography of newly accessioned museum artifacts as well as provided context behind Sudanese material in the museum.

Refined the University department's website and resources bank when it comes to equity, diversity and inclusion.Provided my input as a female Physics student from a Black Muslim background regarding how to be more inclusive in the curriculum.Conducted a study on the university's School of Physical sciences, regarding the percentage of female students, minority ethnic students, etc.Pitched ideas on how to celebrate certain events such as Black History Month within the School of Physical Sciences, including contacting various speakers to come give a talk at the University.Promoted student networking by organising social events such as coffee mornings, board game nights, pub crawls and pizza afternoons.
