I currently lead Imagine Canada’s IRP project on social finance. I also serve as Chief Science Officer for Glocalization Hub, a startup I co-founded, and occasionally do consulting work. Additionally, I am a doctoral candidate at Queen’s University focusing on measurement, assessment, policy, leadership and evaluation.I am a lifelong learner, and my background and work experience cover a wide variety of experiences and perspectives in teaching, research, consulting, leadership, and evaluation. My most recent work is in international development, impact measurement, compliance, non-profit governance and leadership, behavioral insights, knowledge mobilization, community-engaged scholarship, and system coordination and integration. I am also enthusiastic about and continuously growing my knowledge in innovative and blended financing including impact investing and results-based finance, as well as in blockchain technology for education, development, and charitable use.My work in consulting led me to new adventures including becoming a certified professional impact analyst, a first of a kind designation that combines training in rigorous economic measurement tools with practitioner and cutting-edge insights to train professionals at NGOs, governments, and international development agencies on effectively incorporating evidence and evaluation into the design and financing of their projects. My doctoral work is focused on how standards, regulation, and governance can be optimized to improve outcomes for social purpose organizations, and I have been fortunate to obtain world-class training from some of the world’s top institutions including Harvard, Georgetown, NUS, Queen's, and UBC. I am always keen on employing my diverse skill-set to add value and drive results. I have served on boards and advised at numerous organizations including the Queen’s University Board of Trustees, Queen’s University Senate, The Mental Health Commission of Canada, The Association for Nonprofit and Social Economy Research (ANSER), The Canadian Society for the Study of Education (CSSE), and mirror and technical committees for The Standards Council of Canada (SCC) and the International Organization for Standardization (ISO).I am happy to connect if we share common interests.
