Two words that summarize my career: People's NegotiatorJust like Rome was not built in a day, I was gradually groomed amidst the buzz and madness of a trading floor over a period of 17 years. Groomed to think commercially, Act logically and Execute systematically, I have grown in the journey of Operations and Claims having crossed sleepless nights, stressful days and lots of doubtful situations until I started living in my office! When I joined the Oil Trading world, my boss told me, "Most people recruited in Trading either stay on or leave within 6 months". This one line sums my 17 years on the Trading floor where I learnt commercial negotiations, the oil supply chain and the value of adding "value" to every layer along the way, because every $ counts. Optimization in various areas like strategic voyage routing, stowage plans, bunker consumption, trading strategies, laytime usage are my areas of expertise. At the core, am a counselor - I enjoy talking to people about their lives and this one natural trait makes me a great negotiator at work. Riding multiple horses at the same time to reach the finishing line with almost nil scope for error is me living life on the fast lane!  Oil and Gas Specialist - worked in the Oil and Gas industry for over 20 years.
