Underwriting Assistant, Specialty Solutions
Current• Issuing, endorsements, renewals or cancelling policies following underwriting policies/procedures, applicable laws, and regulations subject to personal authority level. • Inputting policy information into the system, Search for information relevant to the underwriting function. Provide certificates of insurance to Brokers as per established guidelines• Identifying, search, log and distribute quotes and renewals.• Retrieving information relevant to the underwriting function either by pulling files or checking policy history and financial strength through appropriate channels & shared files in SharePoint.• Reviewing underwriting reports and establish required action based on authority level.• Assisting Underwriters with large complex policies.• Preparing Loss Run reports & LOE’s for Brokers as requested and auditing them the ones done by outsource team.• Triaging the CCM Box to right department and to Underwriters and success partner for new hires in team.
