I'm a digital executive and strategist with a passion for innovating. I'm well versed in business communications, operational management, product & process design as well as Sales management.I've worn many hats in my career including sales director, operations manager, concept designer, marketer, researcher and strategist. As a result, I have a unique ability to manage multidisciplinary projects and to navigate complex challenges. But actual experience has taught me that my professional value are all underpinned with an overriding factor to get the job done to an "above and beyond" ethos. I have 20 years experience in hospitality and leisure industry. From the age of 13 my father ran multiple restaurants and takeaway locations. This gave me a very early insight into operationally running these venues. I then made the switch to the finance sector and was headhunted into a job for Morgan and Stanley. I was the first outside person they had employed for any role from outside the company in 7 years. I ended up becoming the script writer and helping form the new strategies around selling products to our high end clients of credit cards and loans. I then made the move into consultation for consumer tech firms such as groupon and Livingsocial. Here I helped build and grow a small online business into the biggest consumer electronics seller on the LS USA platform with over 1,000,000 units sold in its first year. I now have a great team of salesmen, developers and designers around me, which means I can work on my passion, which is where consumer technology meets business. It feels like it's the first time that technology has finally caught up to my imagination enough to be able to make concepts a reality in a matter of months, when before it was years or maybe even never. Forming new behaviours and processes, that don't quite exist yet, through the use of the latest technologies is exciting to me.
