Oversaw content development and company messaging for the National Pro GRID League. This included planning the master publishing calendar, coordinating and producing written articles and announcements, web publishing, photography and social media. I managed a team of journalists across the country and some international, supported the League's teams in developing their content plans and helped the company grow in reach and fan engagement though messaging to different audiences: fans, investors and media. The offseason involved a focus on day-to-day social media planning.

Every day was varied, and I was on call 24-7. Responsibilities ranged from handling media inquiries on events and emergencies to which BCFR responded, to setting up press conferences and doing public education on safety and other department programs through social media and other outreach. I networked with other local, state and federal government and public safety agencies to improve communication and coordination. I also worked on budget presentations and other department messaging.

I've served in several capacities for CrossFit Inc.:* 2014 CrossFit Games Regional Media Director for Europe. This involved building a team from scratch in Europe to provide content on athletes from that continent, generating a content plan and a publishing calendar, then traveling to Europe where I selected an additional event-based team (14 people from 10 different countries) to join my standing team to run media operations at the CrossFit Games Europe Regional in Copenhagen.* 2012 and 2013: Assistant to CrossFit Games Executive Producer, leading up to and during competition week* 2012-13: Community Regional Media Director for three regions: South East, South Central and Latin America* 2012: CrossFit Games Regional Media Director South East * 2011: Head writer for CrossFit Games South East Regional

This is now the norm, but then it was new.
