As key member of the Financial Derivatives Business Unit of Euronext, I'm tasked with undertaking business development activities to optimize and grow Euronext's derivatives footprint. This involves engaging with the broad community of direct and indirect market participants, identifying key trends, risks and opportunities to grow the derivatives franchise and undertaking campaigns to maximize commercial impact.I built and own the relationship with the retail brokerage community in Belgium, The Netherlands, France, Italy, Iberia, Switserland & Scandinavia. I listen to their needs, identify client and product opportunities and provide solutions to grow our footprint and revenue.

As a Business Development Manager, I am responsible for developing, devising and implementing initiatives and programs to grow revenue from NYSE Euronext's cash and derivatives product & service offering in Belgium and Luxemburg. My role is primarily a customer facing one, with emphasis on relationship management, business development and direct promotion to our broad range of customers and users: direct exchange members, brokers, prop firms, traditional fund managers and private investor distribution channels. I’m the ambassador of the company in the assigned region, ensuring awareness of our brand, products and services amongst key clients and prospects. I’m a leader and motivator driven to bring the best out of the team.

current job consist in: * Ensuring quality service to Belgian members of NYSE Liffe • Detecting opportunities / new areas of interest at member level / Introduce new projects/ products of NYSE Liffe * Manage portfolio of customers and be their entry point for trading administration, product information, connectivity & market access* Retail business development focused on derivatives: give retail lectures on index and equity derivatives / ensure good relationships with Belgian online brokers / organization of online option competition / development of e-learning modules on derivatives

* Give lectures for various target groups: investment clubs, retail investors, high schools / universities on Euronext cash & derivatives product offer* Set up collaboration with universities to leverage on educational offer of Euronext / Manage project "Beursschool" - "Ecole de la Bourse" in Belgium: program / partnerships / booking external specialists / practical organization* Set-up partnerships with online brokers in Belgium * Copywrting of educational material on Euronext products & markets for local purpose
