As a member of a three-person team and recognized firm-wide sales leader, I managed $1.6bn of investment assets in separately managed accounts for High Net Worth Individuals. Our business was entirely transactional, focused on fixed income investments, and we consistently outperformed the market by 200 basis points or more year after year. During my tenure I increased commission based annual team revenue from $1.5mm to $3.9mm by growing assets under management from $700mm to $1.6bn over 12 years. Relentlessly prospecting led to my recognition as a firm-wide sales leader nearly every year, and I was awarded Level 2 discretionary Portfolio Manager status from Morgan Stanley allowing for the fully discretionary management of over $600mm in client assets. In addition, I championed all credit analysis with sole responsibility for personally approving over $500mm of new investment positions annually and handling all credit communications to our Ultra High Net Worth Clients.I cultivated and cared for client relationships providing solutions that included the articulation of investment recommendations, financial modeling, credit reviews, portfolio analysis, tax liability optimization, and technology based custom reporting. In addition, I collaborated continuously with team members and numerous Morgan Stanley departments to successfully implement highly esoteric custom solutions for clients' liquidity, contractual, legal, and other financial needs.

Before working at Morgan Stanley, I worked with the same three-person team at UBS, completing all of the client driven solutions articulated above. In addition, my entry into the business in 2007 was highly focused on entrepreneurial business development. During my first 2 years I made over 50,000 cold calls, initiating new relationships with more than 50 middle market institutions which I then provided ongoing coverage to for their fixed income needs. This revenue driving business development was the beginning of the continual growth of our business from $700mm in assets under management in 2007 to over $1.6bn in 2019.

As a director of Investment Banking I provided analysis, evaluation, and deal structuring for the origination and placement of private placements in public equity totaling over $30mm. My primary role was identifying and cultivating new business opportunities by initiating and maintaining constant communication with Chief Executive Officers of public and private companies. I also fulfilled an institutional sales role by disseminating investment opportunities to institutional clients, analyzing business plans, identifying capital needs, and evaluating management potential for corporate clients seeking to raise additional capital.

Participated in the management and construction of the $100mm International Headquarters for Genzyme Biotech World Headquarters in Cambridge MA on time and under budget. I also oversaw numerous other $100mm projects including the Peabody Essex museum and major laboratory for MIT. Besides onsite management I worked in the cost department at Turner for a year, modeling long term financial outcomes, analyzing costs, projecting expenses, and reporting current project financial status to Turner Executives in monthly review meetings. This including the publishing of monthly indicated outcome reports viewed firm-wide for 10 high risk projects totaling over $200 million.
