This was a temporary contract.• Responsible for maintaining quality of fuel and fueling system for 130 YRC/USF Holland Freight truck terminals. • Streamline and implement ongoing Preventive maintenance program to ensure maximum use of tractors and to prevent costly downtime.• Coordinate with 200+ vendors to schedule repairs and maintenance, fuel sampling tests, proper additive chemical use for diesel fuel to maintain the fuels integrity which is critical during winter months when there is extreme conditions to prevent fuel from gelling.• Supervising Project Personnel, Scheduling Work, Writing Proposals and Preparing Bids, Equipment and Material Logistics Control.• Responsible for the performance contract requirements and company policies, procedures and guidelines. • Directed and supervised all support resources for the performance of project assignments and activities. • Manages the technical direction of a project through the design, implementation, and testing in accordance with project objectives. • Responsible for acquiring follow-on business associated with assigned projects and for supporting new business development.

After the destruction Hurricane Katrina left behind. Brad Pitt decided to start the "Make it Right" foundation in the lower 9th ward to help rebuild New Orleans. At ECM I was in charge of the entire lower 9th ward project area in facilitating maintenance to site under Bill Lawton from Make it Right. The site was very high profile and always on the news. We had the POTUS as well as many celebrities visit the site which had to maintain at top notch level of cleanliness and safety with ongoing constructing 15+ homes at a time. I was also in charge of implementing the use of a new form of concrete that allows water to flow thru it called Pervious Concrete. ECM and my crew was featured on the T.V show “Build it Bigger”. Coordinated all the site prep and grading for initial construction as well as the finish grading, landscape and maintenance of properties.I was in charge of as many as 3 foreman and 68 skilled/Laborers.It was a very challenging and rewarding experience. • Demonstrate leadership behavior while holding peers and subordinates accountable.• Coordinated with MIR procurement to ensure materials inventory levels conform to budget and forecast.• Coordinate and collaborate with other departments in establishing and carrying out production responsibilities. • Drive continuous improvement initiatives with MIR to reduce standard cost, scrap, and rework.• Maintain maximum work flow by managing the process, monitoring equipment, setting scheduled hours, monitoring personnel and resources and fostering a spirit of cooperation within and between departments and shifts.• Maintain staff by placing, selecting, orienting, and training employees; developing personal growth opportunities.
