With over 15 years of experience in game art development, I currently oversee a talented team of 13 artists, specializing in diverse fields such as 3D environment, assets, UI, lighting, and VFX. As a member of the vehicle team. I was tasked with creating models for a wide range of vehicles from bikes - buggys - cars and trucksThis required me to be adaptable and able to research and create content that players would like and enjoy, This ended up with my vehicle designs being used on the box art and as pre-order bonuses.Along With creating the models. I was responsible with getting them game-ready. this included setting up the model hierarchy, Creating LODE. applying textures/materials, AO baking and hand painting the damage areas. and fixing any bugs that were flagged by QA

While at evolution studios i worked on all iterations of driveclub in varying different roles, was initially hired as a member Of the Embedded QA team, here would help create documentation and checklists for the monitoring Of art assets for driveclubafter a year in QA moved over to become a member of the vehicle team where i took on the role of asset managing this was initlally 50 vehicles at launch and ended up just over 100 including bikes.later on got tasked with the implementation of stats within the vehicle selection screen this requlred me to research each vehicle's stats and position and place them In the ui. in development of driveclub VR was responsible for the placement of all the HUD screens Inslde each vehicle, taklng into account visibility and problems that may arlse.

In my time working at Eutechnyx / ZeroLight. I worked on 2 major projects as a vehicle artist, my responsibility were to asset manage vehicles created by the external outsource company and making sure all the art being produced were consistent and to a high standard, along with checking all assets I would create the texture maps, normal maps and prepare the vehicles to go in game.Along with these tasks i was required to go on reference shoots for the vehicles that were needed this is included a shoot at BMW in Munich and Jaguar land-rover
3D Artist
While at Six by Nine I used Maya and Photoshop to create ten photo-like cars for the visual imaging product Envizio. All modeling for the product was conducted in Maya , with the standard for model topology being high due to a custom rendering system employed in the product. The modeling techniques employed by myself to create cars included polygonal and NURBS modeling. I was also responsible for baking and post processing the texture maps used in the product. Users of the Envizio product are able to view and render my cars in a very similar manner to a game engine .
