Includes data gathering sheets, specific macros for data validation, data manipulation, and data prepping for tenant loading. This workbook is used on all medium enterprise CAN Payroll deployments, drastically reducing the time and errors involved in loading data for customer projects.- Built internal tooling for data mapping for Simplified Data Approach:In effort to streamline deployment method and reduce errors/time from customers filling out data gathering workbooks, this new approach involves mapping customer reports from legacy systems to a loadable format for Workday tenants. This not only reduces the amount of time needed for the entirety of the customer deployment by eliminating data errors from customers, but by eliminating report discrepancies and encouraging repeat-ability.- Created generator tool for transforming any data gathering workbook into Workday tenant loadable format (Advanced Load):In order to eliminate macro coding for every specific data transformation per Web Service we use for loading, I created a tool to help automate data transformation in a way that non technical analyst can use to transform data into Advanced Load. By creating the tool and the back end logic, as well as provide a simple to use user interface, we are able to reduce coding time for Web Service changes and additions.

This builds visibility on how the company is currently operating, and provides valuable insight on how to continuously improve. Many interviews were conducted with high level managers in the company, and the majority were overseas. It required extracting detailed information, sometimes from individuals whose native language isn't English, about tasks to be able to map them specifically. Creating current state process maps also required operations and supply chain knowledge to keep maps concise and relevant.

Frito Lay West Valley had the need to streamline the workflow for fleet technicians and increase visibility for jobs being completed in the shop.As a Supply Chain Management Intern, I built a program in Excel VBA that eliminated the need to backfill an administrator position, equating to more than $12,500 in annual cost savings. The program was an automated priority matrix and dashboard, aiding technicians view the workflow for the day and help the shop complete jobs most urgent and important to Frito Lay. This realized an additional $20,000+ in annual cost savings by reducing downtime for assets and increasing effective allocation of labor. The project also consisted of designing and implementing permanent protocols and procedures relating to the project among staff, ensuring the project to be a long-lasting solution.
