Romaire Studios is one of the foremost providers of live-action creatures, characters and animated props for the worldwide entertainment industry. Years of experience and success as an artist, sculptor and make-up effects designer led me to launch Romaire Studios (RS) in 2000. By 2003, we leased our first studio space in Downtown Los Angeles. RS started as a boutique creature and character make-up effects company, providing make-up and puppets to movie, television and commercial productions. As we grew, we secured working relationships with some of the biggest entertainment companies in the world. A decade ago, we helped set the standard for movie-quality realism in theme park figures. Some of our in-house accomplishments for the theme park industry include, creating the first hand-held animatronic, the smallest animatronic expressive head, and more.
