Helping people realize their potential is my passion. Whether that is to become a better leader, project manager, Combat Systems Engineer, football player and teammate, or citizen. The last three decades of my life have been devoted to building highly effective teams within and outside of the United States Navy. During my time as the Command Senior Enlisted Leader at Surface Combat Systems Training Command South-West, in San Diego, my team and I fostered a culture of excellence. We attained the highest standard of technical and tactical training of all waterfront detachments in the Surface Combat Systems Training Command while developing unparalleled leaders and experts within our own staff. We cultivated an environment of trust and respect which allowed the entire team to reach their fullest potential. As a Navy Master Chief Aegis Firecontrolman, I served as the Combat Systems Maintenance Manager on three Arleigh Burke class destroyers and one Ticonderoga class cruiser. Thirty years of experience, mostly at sea. Two precomissioning tours. The first in Pascagoula, MS, and the second in Bath, ME. Shore duty at NSWC Corona Division supporting CSSQT (Combat Systems Ship's Qualifications and Training) as well as BMD (Ballistic Missile Defense) Flight Test Missions. My combat teams have planned and executed live missile firing events on more than 15 ships, five of which while I was serving as ship's company. Completed 6 FDNF-E Ballistic Missile Defense patrols. I have stood the watch as Tactical Action Officer and Force Anti-Air Warfare Coordinator during multiple deployments to 3rd, 5th, 6th and 7th Fleets.I am an avid welder and fabricator. I am intrigued by automated manufacturing processes including robotic assembly as well as robotic GMAW (MIG) welding cell implementation and utilization.
