My name is Jesse Lees, and I was born and raised in Calgary, Alberta. I am a former professional hockey player. For much of Canadian youth, I grew up in and around the rink playing hockey. I was drafted in the 1st round, 9th overall, in the 2010 WHL Draft. I went on to play three years with the Kelowna Rockets and finished my Jr. career with the Prince Albert Raiders, being named Assistant Captain. I was later awarded a double full athletic scholarship with the Mount Royal University Varsity Hockey team and the WHL scholarship. I have completed a Bachelor of Health and Physical Education, majoring in Sports and Recreation Management.
