Having practiced law for over 30 years in the areas of corporate and real estate contracts, transactions and disputes, and all aspects of trusts and estates, my clients refer to me as a “deal maker,” who is accessible, responsive and more than thorough. I am the Managing Member of my firm, Schwartz Ettenger, which is a premier boutique Law Firm located in Melville, New York, focusing in the areas of Business and Corporate matters, Commercial Litigation, Real Estate Transactions, Employment Law, and Wills, Trusts and Estates matters.I advise companies on a wide range of business matters, handling transactional work as well as providing general corporate counsel services and drafting and reviewing all types of business documents. My business experience includes being actively involved in running my family’s real estate management business. This enables me to better hand-hold my clients. I graduated from the Ross School of Business Administration of the University of Michigan (Ann Arbor) before attending Brooklyn Law School. As a result, I bring business sense to a transaction, and therefore, am better equipped to be a “deal maker.” Educating others on legal issues is important to me and I speak and write on topics related to estate planning, 1031 real estate transactions, and the basics of selling and purchasing a business.
