This involved controlling one overseas division, working with stakeholders to resolve numerous issues following acquisition, and overseeing a new business start-up in the United States. By implementing more robust reviews of the balance sheet, controls of reconciliations and provisions, I mentored an inexperienced team, ensuring that procedures were improved, group reporting deadlines and standards were met, and statutory obligations adhered to.
