With close to 35 years in the electronic security industry I have been lucky enough to have worked in many high level roles for several of the largest CCTV integrators and manufacturers globally, starting from my apprenticeship and electronics/electrical engineering degrees with Chubb (UK) straight from finishing school at 15 with A-Grades in Electronics and Computing, to Genetec Sales Engineering and Services Manager heading up our Pre Sales, Field Engineering, Tech Support and Training Teams for Genetec - Asia Pacific, currently working out of Queensland, Australia.I have been involved in Installation, Service, Project Management, Pre-Sales, Technical Training and Key Account Management roles both in IP CCTV, Access Control and Intruder Alarm systems.Recently i have been onstage presenting to EU, A&E and SI the new Genetec SCSaaS portfolio and loving the buzz of getting up and captivating a large audience with an amazing and innovative cloud portfolio.Specialties: I have an in-depth knowledge of Server and PC Hardware, Virtualisation, Networking and IP CCTV systems. Now specialising in IoT, Automation, Cloud, Situational Awareness, Decision Support Workflow, Operational Logic and SoP's, Video Analytics and Deep Learning.My current focus is with Cloud and SaaS managed solutions, helping launch and promote our latest Security Center as a Service offering, leveraging Microsoft Azure, and our ground up cloud architecture, to bring ease of use and deployment flexibility to the security industry with our Hybrid, Open and Unified approach.
