CAT A Surveys & Fttp (Fibre Cities) on the Openreach Network (OH) & (UG) Plan and design installs on residential & business premises thoughout the UK. Produce design packs, including civil engineering and cable install plans.Liaise with external third-parties involved in the overall project includinglocal authorities, contractors, and subcontractors.

My main responsibilities are planning and producing civils & cabling packs, Ensure all staff are working in compliance of the current H&S Policy, risk assessments and method statements. surveying sites and the supervision of staff and auditing of planners and packs ensuring all packs were acceptable for the client and civils teams.

My main responsibilities are carrying out feasibility studies and the creation of project packs for civils, cabling and network upgrades using Gcomms & Fulcrum software, in all franchise areas of Virgin Media across the UK. This includes both new development work and expansion of the existing network into areas identified by various internal Virgin Media departments, The project involves working to challenging deadlines and liasing with external statutory undertakers, local authorities, internal support departments, contractors and the client and surveying all planned sites.

Plan, Control and implement the site surveys and design for the MBNL Cell Sites for the provision of new fibre optic cables using Force & Fulcrum software. Schedule the monthly nominations through direct labour and subcontractors to meet the requested number of sites. Make sure all requested GIS drawings; SLD’s Undertake the surveys, design for new internal and external cables with associated civils. From the nearest joint to the Cell Site, making sure all the rules and regulations are adhered to in order to meet customer delivery dates & all operational performance targets. Produce the requested epacks on Fulcrum and close down the tasks in Force. Ensure all staff are competent and have the necessary training and PPE for the task that is to be undertaken. Ensure all staff are working in compliance of the current H&S Policy, risk assessments and method statements. Resolve any outstanding wayleave issue by amending the epack or meeting the customer onsite to discuss the proposed route and achieve a resolution. Establish and maintain excellent working relationships with external and internal customers and suppliers. Plus resolving any issue’s or problems from the civil and cabling direct labour teams associated to the design.
