As Assistant to Commercial Divisional Director (September 2010 - March 2011), I was highly involved in projects spanning across 4 integral units: Sales, Marketing, Business Development and Food and Beverage. Developed new products, and spearheaded Sales’ MICE business re-modelling project which saw the launch of a MICE Campaign, a collaborative effort with Resorts World Sentosa and 5 other hotel partners, slated to achieve S$2 million revenue in first year. Represented Sentosa, at ITB Berlin 2011, the world’s biggest travel trade show. Developed an incentive scheme for F&B operations staff to improve overall F&B performance. As Executive Assistant to Chief Executive Officer (March 2011 - Sept 2011), I was chosen to directly report to CEO, with involvement in all executive meetings, board meetings and strategy meetings. I was also part of planning committee for the formation of Southern Waterfront Tourist Precinct. Additional roles include being secretary to Sentosa Senior Executive Team, working closely with the Sentosa Board of Directors.Part of a team of 6 that championed for the introduction of Sentosa Corporate Social Responsibility Week, where we successfully executed a total of four inaugural events: Charity Gala Dinner, Sentosa Charity Golf Tournament, Sentosa Charity Experience for school children and an Charity Open Day, raising a sum of almost $400,000 for the National Council of Social Service. In my role as a MA, I was highly commended by my CEO, Reporting Officers and other senior management.

Built a portfolio of new customers for Mortgage Loan products. Conducted market research on housing loans in different geographical markets through phone interviews.

Handled the administrative processes for client transactions, banking and other accounting functions within the branch. Collaborated extensively with dealers, introducing new initiatives to enhance customer service. Followed up on compliance issues with the Treasury department in the head office, in Canada, on a weekly basis. Successfully invented a new system to organise company data, client data and backlog documentation.

Part of the team for Visa’s Rebranding Project - Visited individual shops to interact with and educate shopkeepers about the changes in the Visa logo, convinced and assisted them to replace Visa card point-of-sales items and conducted surveys of the credit purchase situation. Created a detailed profile for each company on the online portal MarketPulse, complete with survey results and pictures of newly erected point-of-sales item. Successfully met quota of 75 shops a day and commended for positive work attitude by several clients.
