Melisi Projects, a domestic building company exclusive to developers won the contract to build a large quantity of apartment complexes across Adelaide.I was hired initially to build a safety management system to bring the residential contractor up to a commercial compliance. Once implemented I coordinated the first build from supervision and scheduling through to cost tracking and variation management.The business sustained extensive growth to where it is today working on 9 buildings simultaneously with another 6 undergoing preliminaries.I was responsible for; design consultant management, preliminaries and building consents, material takeoffs, procurement, budgeting and cost management, progress claim schedules, scheduling, trade management, safety management, QA and building certification documents for hand over. Along with the business growth I was also responsible for the resourcing of the project.

Balmoral Mining & Construction, a sister company to Heading Contractors launched inMarch 2013 to work in partnership with Sherwin Iron as the mining and infrastructurecontractor for a new Iron Ore mine located remote Northern Territory.I was employed primarily to implement and manage systems for tracking the mine siteproduction statistics and reporting to the client. We as the onsite project team managed allaspects of the project reporting to the senior project manager in Adelaide.The role included; implementation and facilitation of a mine materials stock trackingsystem, rostering, truck logistics, site surveying & cad drafting, QA documentation,scheduling, purchase order management, safety management & variation management.

Heading Contractors was Olympic Dams biggest civil, mining & construction contractorduring the multiple billion-dollar expansion projectI initially took a job as a trade assistant to get into the mining sector and soon moved into aOH&S advisor position. As the major projects came on board I was moved up to work alongside an engineering and project management team to utilise my high-level IT and previousmanagement skills.The position entailed; QA & QC management, document control, contract administration,client leasing for progress claims and schedules, creation and facilitation of all projectregisters, emergency and traffic management coordinator for all sites, survey works & CADdrafting services.

Renniks Events was South Australia’s largest events & party hire organisation.I commenced employment at Renniks Events as a structure builder at a young age. by theage of 21 I was a supervisor of a small build team. A couple of years on I was running all thesite aspects of some of South Australia’s biggest festivals and events. I was made an event manager a few years later to bridge the gap between the office and site experience.My event management portfolio consists of; Clipsal 500 & Tasmania 400 V8 supercar races,Big Day Out, Soundwave, Summadayze, Park Life, Future Music Festival, Royal AdelaideShow, Cheese Festival to name a few.In 2010 I worked directly for the event hosts Eldorado Music to experience the other side ofthe event scene.
