Senior Research Analyst
CurrentInterpret data and research findings as requested by a variety of division, departments, and/or personnel at CSU (e.g., Provost’s Office, Student Affairs, faculty) to inform policies, initiatives, and decision-making, as well as to support accreditation, institutional research, program review, and strategic planning. - Write SQL queries to mine institutional databases; proof and verify data against published sources - Conduct quantitative data analysis on institutional data using a variety of statistical techniques including logistic regression and inverse propensity weighting - Craft research-oriented communications (e.g., research briefs, informal papers, presentations, journal articles) to a broad range of internal and external audiences - Represent IR through collaboration and participation in campus committees and initiatives; provide analytical and research support as requested
