Marketing and servicing of new and renewal business on small and middle-market commercial accounts. Effectively manage a book of business by evidencing a high level of expertise and service to the clients. Account Service •Manage request from clients and carriers for policy changes, certificates, invoicing, underwriting information, auto id cards, loss runs, etc. to ensure clients’ needs are met in accordance with The Harbin Agency standards. Personally assist on complex issues in order to assure client that all tasks are handled at managerial level. •Establish and maintain a good business relationship with clients, carriers and internal personnel; work with Producer to resolve any issues. At the discretion of the Producer, may be called upon to interact face to face with clients and company personnel. Make the Producer aware of any potentially, negative situations. Marketing •Keep a record of all expiration dates within the book of business and coordinate with the Account Executive and Producers on the renewal strategy. Bring any major changes on the account to the attention of the Producer. •Obtain new/renewal information from the clients and carriers. •Assist in preparation of all applications prior to submitting to carrier. Assist in review for completeness and accuracy. •May send submissions to market and follow up for quote. Administrative •Prepare and issue Acord binders, cancellation request, invoices, certificates, etc. on new & renewal business Accounting •Prepare premium allocations & payment schedule spreadsheets •Resolve accounting discrepancies •Collect outstanding premiums due and keep collections within a 30 day period

Generate new commercial leads and provide service for commercial accounts. Customize insurance programs to suit individual customers, often covering a variety of risks. Develop marketing strategies. Calculate premiums and establish payment methods. Perform administrative tasks, such as maintaining records and handling policy renewals. Install bookkeeping systems and resolve system problems. Inspect property, examining its general condition, type of construction, age, and other characteristics, to decide if it is a good insurance risk. Seek out new clients and develop clientele by networking.
