We look to purchase good companies at fair prices.Because individual’s timeframes are finite, we feel as though risk management and the ability for the portfolio to adapt to the changing market and economic environments is very important. We review and rank the supply and demand relationship of stocks, bonds, commodities and cash from strongest to weakest. We then tactically position portfolios on offense or, more importantly, on defense depending on the rankings. Yes, we do view cash as an asset class and can have a significant portion of the portfolio positioned there if the indicators suggest this.
