Lee has held several positions in leading Life Sciences companies including Dionex, Tripos, and Thermo Fisher Scientific. In each of those roles he combined his advanced degrees in business and analytical chemistry to bring goal oriented solutions to his clientele. He has a mastery of analytical chemistry techniques, in silico molecular modeling, and Laboratory Information Management Systems as they relate to drug development, discovery, and production in the highly regulated pharmaceutical industry.In 2009 Lee began a five year sabbatical to accomplish a personal goal of sailing solo around the world. The trip circled the globe starting and terminating in Houston, TX after sailing west until he returned again where he began. Lee has more than 30,000 nautical miles to his credit and explored more than 30 countries during his voyage. Lee continually visited SOS Children’s Villages during the journey to help raise awareness and drive donations to the internationally recognized 501c3.In 2013 Lee returned to his home state of Missouri to build an agricultural enterprise providing high protein specialty forage for performance horses. The venture was a labor of love with his late father, Max Winters.In January 2020 Lee moved to Savannah, GA to return to the coastal life where he invests in, rehabs, rents, and sells distressed property.
