Ever since volunteered my time as a mentor for youth at risks, I knew that I have a passion in teaching and mentoring. It is is heart-warming to watch my mentees grow up and succeeding in their own respective fields. Since I know that this is the route that I would want to pursue, I knew that I had to expand my knowledge and gain more experience in mentoring and teaching. Therefore, I put in extra time and effort into learning and practicing skills, such as facilitation, that will improve my teaching style.Now that I am finishing my bachelor’s, I am looking forward into pursuing my passion as a career. My goal is to inspire my students to understand themselves and to always work towards what they are passionate about.
