My name is Lee Yi Hsing, I am a fresh graduate with a degree in Bachelor of Computer Science (Hons.) Artificial Intelligence from Multimedia University, Malacca, Malaysia, seeking to fill a position in the fields of Computer Science, preferably related to web development, software development, AI or Data Science. My most recent experience working as the sole member in an IoT team in a start-up company further expanded my skill set. In this role, due to no formal training provided, I had to self-learn several IoT skills that were completely new to me. I was tasked with an IoT project to create an industrial-level IoT real-time CCTV and sensor monitoring system for EV charging stations to ensure safety and security. This project involved integrating hardware components and various electrical and communication interfaces for data collection and processing from industrial-grade sensors. I developed comprehensive Python scripts for the CCTV and sensor monitoring, featuring data collection, processing, event detection with alerts, offline handling, server-side licensing, and so on.Additionally, I had a valuable 4-month internship experience as a Laravel fullstack web developer. During this internship and also my time at university, I've developed the abilities to self-learn quickly, communicate effectively, and contribute in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment. I pride myself with my great logical thinking, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. These abilities had helped me greatly during my internships by allowing me to complete tasks using tools that I was not familiar with under minimal guidance from my supervisor. These strengths of mine also make me especially good at backend programming.As a fresh graduate without much experiences, all I desire is an opportunity to expand my skills in the fields of Computer Science.
