A PhD scholar in biochemistry, with a focus on applying DNA nanotechnology for developing novel immunotherapeutics and lipid bilayer modification. I have a master's degree in chemistry from Stella Maris College and a bachelor's degree in chemistry from St. Stephen's College, Delhi.I have 5 years of experience in designing and developing DNA-based structures bioconjugated with proteins and hydrophobic moieties, and synthesizing lipid-based vesicles and nanoparticles. I have successfully demonstrated the potential of my DNA-based structures for delivering miRNA and mRNA across membrane-bound systems, and for enhancing the immune response against cancer cells, using various techniques such as TEM, PCR, CLSM, AFM, MALDI-TOF, fluorescence spectroscopy, qPCR, nanosight, FPLC, HPLC, ELISA, and Western blot. I have published multiple papers in peer-reviewed journals and presented my work at international conferences.In addition to my research skills, I am proficient in bacterial and mammalian protein expression, purification, and characterization, as well as mammalian cell culture and protein expression. I have also trained and mentored graduate and undergraduate students in the lab, and worked as a teaching assistant for several courses. I have held leadership positions in various clubs and organizations in my graduate and undergraduate years, and I am always eager to learn new skills and collaborate with others. My goal is to pursue a career in biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry, where I can apply my expertise and creativity to solve real-world problems and improve human health.
