As an account executive at a peer-to-peer pharmaceutical marketing firm, I work with pharmaceutical companies on the development of marketing materials to educate Healthcare Providers on the benefits of medications and/or provide disease state education. I work closely with project managers and the creative team to make sure all deliverables meet or exceed client expectations and route projects through the client system for Medical, Legal, and Regulatory (MLR) review. I have quickly established myself as the go-to person for process and client system questions.Previously, as a Senior Coordinator, Document Specialist, I became an expert in reviewing (proofreading, editing, formatting, adherence to client style guide, preparation for publishing) pharmaceutical regulatory documents. I supported a team of 20-25 and was responsible for the first level review of all word-processed documents before moving onto scientific review.Because of my consistency and attention to detail, our client client increased the headcount of our contract to make sure we have proper coverage for all documents to go through this review process. In addition to reviews, I also helped provide technical writers with formatting training for better efficiency, troubleshooting document issues, and client systems training for new hires. My responsibilities expanded to include regulatory document submission authoring for our pharmaceutical client.Previously, as a Legal Assistant/Special Projects Coordinator, I found a niche as the go-to person for standardizing under-performing processes. In addition to learning the process itself (such as drafting specific legal documents, managing client expectations/timelines, and daily tasks), I would clear out any backlog, establish higher standards and efficiency, then train a coworker on the newly established procedure. I would often create a manual on the process as I established the new standards and include checkpoints for reviewing files for potential issues. For each of the processes I standardized, I reduced file rework, reduced client complaints, reduced department turnover, and increased efficiency. I was often praised by my supervisors on my ability to learn quickly, suggest innovative ideas, and provide comprehensive training for coworkers along with continued support.
