In practice, my work involves regular interaction with essentially the full spectrum of stakeholders in the space applications ecosystem (and other high-tech too!). This includes:- working closely with users to understand their needs and challenges and translate them into requirements for space- or high-tech enabled solutions; - supporting start-ups and SMEs in developing solutions that effectively meet user/market needs and assisting them in establishing viable business; - heavily contributing to the implementation (and often leading the conceptualisation) of high-impact R&D projects; - supervising the implementation of impactful projects whereby Evenflow is coordinator;- acting as work package leader of sustainability/exploitation activities; - providing strategic advice to EU institutions (e.g. EC, ESA, EUSPA, EEA, ECMWF, SatCen, etc.) and private sector organisations in the context of programmatic/technical/market studies and consulting assignments.- devising or improving methodologies in relation to the analysis of socio-economic benefits, maturity assessments, valuation of companies, etc. Show less

GEO-CRADLE brought together key players representing the complete EO value chain in three regions (Balkans, N. Africa and M. Having been involved in the project conceptualisation, my work as a member of the coordinating team included- Supporting the smooth execution of the project- Ensuring alignment with and fulfilment of its strategic objectives- Assuring the technical quality of its outputs- Leading the impact assessment and contributing to exploitation and engagement tasks GEO-CRADLE is a H2020 project, led by the National Observatory of Athens and funded by the European Union under GA 690133.
