Assumed P&L responsibility for this $50 million division in the UK covering Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. I was challenged with developing a growth vision and reenergizing the leadership of the division. Also refocused and reorganized the aftermarket business to bring achieve 25% annual revenue growth.

Established a new division based in Houston to develop and implement a renewed corporate marketing strategy to re-energize the company’s aftermarket service business; re-engineered the corporate supply chain function, and eventually assumed responsibility for the human resources function. I was a member of the senior executive team that successfully implemented a merger of the world’s two dominant natural gas compression companies into a single entity, Exterran Holdings Inc., with over $3 billion in annual revenues and a market capitalization of over $5 billion.

This opportunity challenged the depth and breadth of my general management skills. I created an Asia Pacific Division, including the establishment of an office based in Beijing. Reporting directly to the CEO, we were successful in expanding into new markets in China, Australia, and Indonesia.
