Battalion consisting of over 500 Soldiers and various MTOE equipment valued in excess of 25 million. Responsible for all internal logistics support within the battalion to include sustainment plans, supply, maintenance, transportation, operational contract support and tracking expenses of the Battalion budget of 1.25 million. Assists in managing the property accountability and coordinating the supply activity of five companies; manages the squadron's use of the Government Purchase Card between seven cardholders; oversees the squadron's use and collection of informal funds and MWR funds; aids the administration of the unit's yearly fiscal budget in accordance with the brigade's spending plan; plans and synchronizes the logistical enterprise of supporting the troops' sustainment requirements in a tactical environment during reconnaissance and security operations.

BMO Oversees the PMCS program for the entire BN equipment. Serve as a shop officer in units did not authorize an MCO, due to the number of mechanics assigned. Ensures all reportable equipment is reported accurately. Evaluates and enforces overall Battalion PMCS operations. Assists the commander in planning tactical maintenance support across the Korean Theater of Operations. Pulls reports form GCSS-Army and assists in developing courses of action to mitigate deficiencies with services, usage, overage, and ESR. Manages staff synch slides and assist at Battalion Ground Maintenance meetings.

The maintenance platoon leader of Echo Forward Support Company as well as designated Battalion Maintenance Officer in support of 2-2Assault Helicopter Battalion, assigned to 2nd Combat Aviation Brigade, 2nd Infantry Division. In charge of ground maintenance support of the 2-2 Assault Helicopter Battalion mission in the Korean Theater of Operation. Accountable for enforcing soldiers' appearance, combat readiness, daily training, maintenance support to the entire battalion. Fully accountable for signing multi-million dollars of equipment. Ultimately charged dozens of different maintenance programs and systems within the 2-2 Assault Helicopter Battalion and the last but not least, in charge of Battalion ground maintenance recovery asset to provide necessary recovery need for any ground equipment.

ROTC Scholarship Contracted Cadet at The Citadel

The Cadet Troop Leader Training (CTLT) track provides Cadets the opportunity to experience leadership in Army Table of Organization and Equipment (TO&E) units over a three to four week period. Cadets serve in lieutenant-level leadership positions in active-duty units. Platoon Leader positions have a 3-4 week duration depending on the hosting unit and location. Assignments include units that are located CONUS and OCONUS. Cadets are assigned a unit mentor and are provided on-post lodging and meals via a Dining Facility. This program is exclusively designed for MS III Cadets before and after completion of Advanced Camp.

The mission of the Academic Officer is to assist the Company Commander in establishing, maintaining, and monitoring an organizational climate that optimizes thethe ability of each cadet in the company to excel in the academic pillar.Specific responsibilities include:- Ensure all personnel designated to lead company PT areproperly trained.- Establish and maintain liaison with campus athleticoffices such as the Athletic Department, Deas Hall, andGrounds.- Receive and act on guidance from the Company TAC,Company Commander, and Battalion Athletic Officerand keep them informed about matters involving battalion performance in the physical pillar.- Develop and disseminate the company PT based onthe regimental plan and guidance from the CompanyCommander. Assess company execution on behalf ofthe Company Commander.- Along with the other athletic officers, work with the Assistant Commandant for Operations and Training in theconduct of CPFT, weigh-ins, Corps Competition/FieldDay, the Gauntlet, and other events.- Administer the company’s intramural program.- Ensure company CPFT graders are properly trained.- Serve as the Company Commander’s action officer forSpirit Runs.- Perform prescribed duties relating to athletic counselingand keep the Company TAC informed of trends andspecific issues.

Clerks perform specific operations tasks under the direct supervision of the Regimental Operations NCO. Conduct essential work to ensure successful daily operations like morning/retreat formation, MFH corps wide addresses and guest speaker events, parade practice and parades.Specific responsibilities include:-Night TAC shifts arrangement-Announcement of daily uniform-uniform of the day-Ensuring the function of radios, PA system, projector system in each BN classrooms.– Mark the parade field.– Provide radio and air horn commands and signals atdesignated transition points at events such as footballgame march-overs and Regimental PT.– Maintain the physical appearance of the jeep.
