In my role as a VA work/study student, I diligently submit course details to the Veterans Affairs (VA), a key process in securing education benefits for students. In my role, I successfully conducted regular maintenance and updates on multiple Windows servers, ensuring optimal performance. I was a key player in administering the college’s I.T. Helpdesk, providing timely and effective support. I maintained a comprehensive network diagram, detailing the MAC and IP addresses, as well as the physical locations of all network-connected machines. I also had the privilege of leading a team of 7 in a significant network upgrade project, where we replaced all network equipment with over $25,000 worth of cutting-edge technology.

As a Corporal/E-4, I was assigned to the Marine Aviation Logistics Squadron-24 where I was responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, operating, and inspecting various flight-critical and support components. I meticulously examined and inspected thousands of aircraft components on a weekly basis, ensuring the highest level of operational readiness.I took pride in training Marines and Sailors, guiding them on how to interpret maintenance manuals, naval publications, and inspection checklists. I also conducted regular, preoperational, and special inspections as specified by these publications and manuals.In addition to hands-on work, I maintained accurate repair documents and man-hour records on digital internal data systems, ensuring transparency and efficiency in our operations. I was also responsible for maintaining authorized usage lists and daily usage files for various hazardous materials required in our workplace, ensuring safety and compliance at all times.My experience in the Marine Aviation Logistics Squadron-24 has equipped me with a strong understanding of aviation maintenance and operations, team leadership, and meticulous record-keeping.
