Hello! Thanks for stopping by. I'm Lauren and I am a highly-skilled generalist, serial connector, and strategic ecosystems thinker who creates impact by transforming how mission-driven organizations are designed, led, and evolved. For most of my career, I have worked in the nonprofit sector and as a sustainability/social impact consultant. My background is eclectic - rooted in environment and sustainability, technology for social innovation, and expertise using creative media (documentary film, educational games, music, and virtual reality) for public engagement. I build capacity for resource-constrained teams to solve complex problems by articulating compelling theories of change, designing responsive communications strategies, and implementing interdisciplinary solutions. I also have extensive experience in the organization, facilitation, and management of meetings and special events, including conferences, workshops, festivals, and webinars that create spaces for people to learn, connect, and take action on critical environmental and social issues. In addition to my nonprofit and environmental/impact consulting work, I am also an adjunct lecturer at several universities teaching a range of courses nonprofit management, social and traditional entrepreneurship, and leadership development. I have a strong background in curriculum development and experiential design for learning forums. Teaching is an extension of my passion for lifelong learning and commitment to advancing society’s collective capacity for innovative problem-solving.I enjoy networking with new people in my field and discussing opportunities for new projects. Just say hi.---For recruiters:Thank you for your interest in contacting me about new professional opportunities.
